Today I’m going to show you how to make these wonderful whole wheat croutons at home. So you can enjoy at home, and you will see how easy and quick they are to prepare. Plus, they last a long time if you store in an airtight container. Therefore, if you want to prepare a good amount to have during the week you can do it!
Other advantages is that you can make these croutons with any type of bread you have from the day before. For example, it is a good recipe to use that bread that is already old. In my opinion, I think it goes better with lactal bread or another similar one that contains enough crumbs, little peel, and doesn’t crumble as much when cut into cubes. This way the croutons will retain their shape better and will not crumble during preparation.
This time I made them with olive oil, but you can also use melted butter (on another occasion I will explain how to make them).
