Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 240 g Butter at room temperature
  • 240 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla essence
  • 4 Eggs
  • 300 g All-purpose flour
  • 50 g bitter cocoa
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 100 g chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Beat the sugar with the sugar until forming a uniform light cream.
  2. Add bitter cocoa and vanilla essence. Mix.
  3. Beat continuously adding the eggs one by one.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda (previously sifted) and lemon juice. Beat until joined.
  5. Add the chocolate chips. Mix.
  6. Pour the mix in paper cupcake liners (fill 3/4) or in a cupcake mold. Bake at 180° for about 15–20 minutes.
  7. Once cool you can decorate with some type of frosting.

NOTES

If you don't have a cupcake mold and you don't want them to warp during baking, you can use a double cupcake paper liners.
